We want you to maximize your fun in the saddle, not spin your wheels pouring over sometimes confusing trail maps and backtracking. In the event of mechanical failure, it's always good to have an experienced rider and "fixer" along.

The reason I started Zen Mountain Bike Tours & Training is simple: I love to ride! And
I want to “share the love” with you, whether you’re an experienced
downhill demon or are completely new to the sport. My goal is to tailor
a ride for you and/or your group that will interest, invigorate and
challenge you!
If you have never experienced the trails of San
Diego and vicinity, you are in for a unique treat. We are so lucky to
have the mild temperatures and sunny skies that make mountain biking
even more spectacular! We also have access to some of the most diverse
and beautiful trails in the country. It is not uncommon to come across
deer, coyote, red tail hawk–even the occasional sleepy owl, getting
ready to doze off after a busy night of hunting. Many of these wildlife
encounters take place right within city limits, yet you could swear
you’re a million miles away from the nearest freeway!
I
specialize in acquainting small groups with both the amazing urban
trails and the true back-country routes of San Diego County. Won’t you
let us introduce you to our beautiful region atop one of our new dual
suspension Iron-Horse MK IIIs? I promise to make it one of your
